‘Pastafarian’ Allowed to Wear Spaghetti Strainer in Driver’s License Photo [PHOTO]

The next time you take a look at your driver's license photo and cringe, I want you to think of Lindsey Miller from Lowell, Massachusetts. There is no way your picture is as bad as hers.

Miller, a 'Pastafarian' who belongs to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (yes, really), was allowed to wear a strainer on her head after she told the DMV that it was for religious reasons. Normally head coverings and hats aren't allowed but exceptions are made when it comes to religion.

Confused by the whole 'Pastafarian' thing? Let me sum it up for you so you don't spend countless hours online trying to figure it out- Pastafarianism is basically a satirical religion. Those who practice the religion don't really believe in a flying spaghetti monster; they're just trying to make a point about religion in society. Still doesn't make it any less strange, does it?
