Shout out to my friend, Elizabeth, for sending me this Facebook post from the Village of Long Grove with details about a new movie shooting there this week starring Mario Lopez, yes... A.C. Slater!

Filming of this new Mario Lopez movie starts today (Monday, March 25) and, how cool is this, Mario is supposed to also be shooting part of Access Hollywood from Long Grove too!

Why Long Grove? It's an adorable small town in the middle of some pretty busy suburbs. When I was a kid, I felt like driving to Long Grove took an hour and that it was in the middle of nowhere.

No I realize it was only about 20 minutes from my house and it's basically just down the road. But, when you're there, you do feel like you're somewhere else, almost like you took a trip back in time.

From the chocolate shops to the wine bars, it's one of my favorite places to visit especially in the summer.

This week won't be perfect for enjoying the weather, but if you can score a glimpse of Mario Lopez, the trip might be worth it!
