‘Wild’ Wisconsin City Dubbed The Binge Drinking Capital Of America
We all knew folks in Wisconsin like to drink.
Take a good look at the drunkest cities in America; a good handful of Wisconsin towns are listed.
Not that it's anything to be super proud of, but the state is home to some of the most esteemed and beloved breweries in America.
That said, I had no idea that, even with all the drinking, one Wisconsin city would be considered one of the "wildest" in the nation.
With 62.4% of the population in this Wisconsin city having toked up a time or two, along with just under 20% having tried coke coupled with ten different strip clubs, Milwaukee is considered one of America's wildest cities.
OLBG.com listed ten cities in America they considered wild using these metrics.
- Marijuana usage
- Cocaine usage
- Number of strip clubs
- Casinos per capita
- Excessive drinking
'Wild' Wisconsin City Dubbed The Binge Drinking Capital Of America
Of course, falling in line with the drunkest cities in America, OLBG says 25% of adults in Milwaukee binge drink.
"Whether the people of Milwaukee are spending their time in bars or enjoying a drink in the comfort of their own homes, it is clear that drinking has been ingrained in this city's culture."
If you're looking for any other Wisconsin city to be on the list, it'll take a while as none other was considered.
The same could be said for Illinois. No city, Chicago included, made OLBG's "America's Wildest Cities" list.
