It's difficult being the Second City. It's a nickname Chicago gets but only from people not from Chicago.

Then again, as a Chicago sports fan, I'm used to seeing some of my beloved teams come up just short.

After seeing this list rattle of the best stadiums in the NFL and rank them from 31 to 1, I was afraid to see what was the named the best.

I knew there was very little chance Soldier Field was going to be named the best stadium in the NFL because it just isn't the best.

It's probably closer to one of the worst, and according to its ranking, 18th, it's about where it should be.

New Arena on Soldier Field:

There is a lot of history in this venue and the lakefront location offers one of the best in the NFL. However, traffic can be rough close to the start and shortly after the game. While the sight-lines are decent and one can walk around nearly the entire the concourse and still see the action, plopping a renovated structure inside the classic colonnades is still an aesthetic eyesore.

Soldier Field earned that reputation. I never understood the construction choices, but then again, no one asked me.

So if the Chicago Bears home turf isn't the best what is it? Well, it's their biggest rival and opponent this Sunday.

Yep, it's Lambeau Field and home of the rival Green Bay Packers.

New Arena:

Lambeau is in the same company as Wrigley Field or Fenway Park. It’s a bucket-list destination that exudes sports history. Even with the extensive interior and exterior renovations and updates, Lambeau still has not lost any of its charms. It’s also become a year-round entertainment option that celebrates one of the most historic franchises in all of the sports.

If you're a Bears fan you've got to hope that that "bucket-list destination" wraps up with a win on Sunday.
