When I first saw this I was like "nope, nope, nope." How did that person who was filming that not scream for someone to stop the plane?

The footage posted yesterday to the Teletrece Facebook page, shows just a simple take off until something starts to move near the wing.

Then the piece begins to flap wildly, then flies off completely.

There are certain times in your life when you put the camera down and look for help. This is one of those times.

This situation reminds me of one of my favorite (now) stories from flying. It wasn't at the time but I've survived so it's OK.

I'm on a flight back to Chicago landing at O'Hare and while we'r,e landing the plane bottomed out on the runway.

Everybody was pretty freaked out. The flight attendant gets on the overhead and says, "The pilot would like to explain that it wasn't his fault, it was the asphalt."

We all laughed, but it wasn't a "ha ha" laugh, it was a "we'll laugh because we survived laugh."
