A photo of a mom breastfeeding her child on the toilet has gone viral and it's causing a huge debate about hygiene. Surely, it can't just be about hygiene. It seems the general population has an issue with breastfeeding photos on social media altogether.  I'm not really sure what the big deal is, but I also had a baby during a time when social media wasn't even a thing. There was no platform to share your most intimate photos with your baby unless it was a scrapbook.

It's too bad that most people don't share the same opinion that you and I do, that if you don't like something, just look away. The fact that it just popped up in your news feed isn't really a good excuse; just keep scrolling. Know what I'm saying?

When Elisha Wilson Beach posted this photo to her Instagram account, she didn't think it would go beyond her followers and Facebook friends. It didn't take long til it was on the front page of Reddit where it started to go viral.

I can see how people would be offended by this photo, simply because people are just looking for any reason to be offended by something. I say, forget the haters. Moms only  have so much time in a day so sometimes that means doing whatever; whenever. This is what real motherhood looks like.

What do you think of Beach's photo?
