This Guy Set A World Record For Widest Tongue [VIDEO]

Everyone deserves their 15 minutes of fame.

I'm actually a little jealous. I would love to set a world record. I once won an ice cream eating contest, but I bet I didn't set a record. I also went to a taping of one of Paula Deen's Food Network shows all about world records, but there was no individual recognition. Maybe someday I'll get my chance.

But today we focus on a father-daughter team who has gotten their weird 15 minutes of world record fame, for having the widest tongues ever.

Kinda weird, right?

Byron Schlenker and his daughter have really wide tongues. I have never met them so I don't know when the wideness discovery occurred, but they're banking on it by entering their widths into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Byron's 3.37-inch wide tongue, scored him the top spot among males, while his daughter's 2.89 inches gave her the top spot for female tongue.

His is wider than an iPhone 6.
