POLL: Does Pineapple Belong on Pizza? Apparently in 2020 it Does

There's some topics in life you should never talk about, religion, politics, and whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza.

All three of those topics get people seriously amped up. But there's nothing that gets the people in a fury more than a picture of pizza with some pineapple on it. Like I bet I can trigger some of you right now just by doing this ...

Are you drooling or screaming? Personally, and DON'T hate me for this, I'm drooling. I love pineapple on pizza. Throw some ham on there and I'm all in. However, I don't think I'm part of the majority. According to Today -

Turns out 54 percent of respondents (out of the 9,474 who weighed in on this question) join the likes of Gordon Ramsay in saying no, pineapple does not belong on pizza.

However, there are also sources who say SCIENTIFICALLY pineapple and pizza are a match made in heaven. And apparently, in 2020, that match is what we craved.

According to GrubHub's "Taste of 2020" Hawaiian Pizza was the most popular of the year. Now I know what you people who don't like it are saying. "Well of course the worst pizza is the most popular during the worst year". And to that I say, you're kind of right. It's definitely ironic the internet's most debated pizza topping was the most popular.

And it wasn't just kind of popular, it was 689% more popular than last year. So now I ask you Rockford ...

Pineapple or no pineapple, all that matters is that pizza exists and we live a life where we can put WHATEVER we want on it. Sure we might get some judgment, but who even cares when you're eating pizza?
