Gather around the dinner table, we gotta talk about our favorite Thanksgiving food.  What'll on your table this year?  Because most Illinois households will have one special dish at the table.

Thanksgiving is possibly my favorite holiday for many reasons.

I love eating.

I love stuffing my face.

I love being in a food coma.

I love having no obligations but hangin' out with my family.

My mom cooks pretty much everything for Thanksgiving Day.  Everything from green bean casserole, stuffing, deviled eggs, macaroni salad, potato salad... you name it, it's being served at my family's Thanksgiving!

Other favorites included:

  • Hashbrown casserole
  • Green bean casserole
  • Mac and cheese
  • Stuffing
  • Deviled eggs
  • Rolls
  • Biscuits

All of it sounds delicious.  I will say, you won't find turkey at my family dinner.  Cherry-glazed ham with pineapples is 100% the way to go, always.  Can't change my mind on that!
