It's a boy.

Congratulations, Kamba. The 11-year-old gorilla gave birth to a five pound baby boy at the Brookfield Zoo on Wednesday. His name is Zachary and he is absolutely adorable.

With his arrival, it makes him the fourth generation of western lowland gorillas that you can see at the zoo's Tropic World.

The zoo has already released a series of photos that will make you say, "awwwww".

Aren't these photos amazing? They almost don't even look real; but what a beautiful display of a bond between a mother and child.

If you'd like to get a glimpse of Zachary, Tropic World at the Brookfield Zoo is open 365 days a year, Monday through Friday: 10am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 6pm.
