October 6-7 in Rockford. Art lovers prepare to fall in love. Your eyes will be completely captivated with exhibits of all kinds.
Lockwood Park every weekend in October, plus Columbus Day. Your kids will have a blast riding ponies, making s'mores, playing games, and ecploring the corn maze.
October 7 at Midway Village. Make your own scarecrow, horse drawn wagon rides, games, crafts, and even a juggler. A fun time for all.
October 7-8 at Edgebrook Shopping Center. Over 70 vendors fulfilling your every Fall wish. From jewelry to vintage décor. And of course there will be cider.
October 7-8 at Loves Park City Hall. Music, folk dancing, German food galore, and wiener dog races, and much more. Yup, I just said wiener dog races. I think I got your attention.
October 8 at Klehm Arboretum. Free fun fall activities for the family ranging from pumpkin decorating to a petting zoo.
October 7-8 in Oregon, IL. This is centered around the annual farmer's market and craft fair but offers much more. Tractors, classic cars, live music, a donut eating contest, and a parade just to list a few.
October 21 at Midway Village in Rockford. This is a MUST if you have kids. Trick or Treating, kids activities, a Halloween dance party, and Treasure Island Enchanted Woods. Don't forget to wear your costume.
October 25-29 in Sycamore. Over 1,000 pumpkins will be on display at this historic event. There will also be carnivals, craft shows, fireworks, and a parade.
October 28th at Anderson Gardens in Rockford. Wear your costumes and explore the Garden's in a new and spooky way. Trick or Treating, kids activities, and much more.
