Rockford Christian Building Housing City COVID-19 Patients

Rockford Christian School's residence hall, just off N. Bell School Rd., will give City of Rockford employees with COVID-19, a place to recover.

I cannot imagine having to be separated from your entire family if you test positive for the coronavirus. Being quarantined at home displaces your entire family. If needed, the City is now partnered with Rockford Christian schools, to give City employees a recovery option other than at home.

The residence hall was completed last fall, but due to all Illinois schools being closed, the hall sits empty. With 200 beds available, this will be a tremendous option for the city as the pandemic rages on.
