Rockford City Market Hosting Yoga With Adorable Puppies This Saturday
If you're looking for something new and refreshing to get into, like myself, during these unpredictable winter months in the Midwest, I think I found the perfect hobby for us.
Believe me when I say I have the worst, and I mean the absolute worst, balance ever. Flexibility has also never been part of my vocabulary, but, after hearing about puppy yoga coming to downtown Rockford, maybe some well-needed exercise doesn't sound so bad after all.
If you frequent the downtown area, you know the Rockford City Market has an abundance of businesses to visit inside, including local favorites featuring Velvet Robot Coffee Shop and Crust & Crumbles.
What you didn't know about the Rockford City Market? They host yoga sessions with a bunch of adoptable, adorable puppies! Yes, you heard that correctly, ADOPTABLE PUPPIES. Not only will you have a relaxing and stress relieving evening with friends and family, you get the chance to immerse yourself amongst furry friends looking for their furever family, aka you.
Tickets are $39/person and a portion of your ticket supports PAWS Humane Society in Rockford. So, clear your schedule, roll up your yoga mat and get ready to play with some irresistible puppies you'll probably end up falling in love with (and maybe even take home).
This event will take place in the lower level of the Market Hall at 116 N. Madison Street on Saturday, January 22nd from 10-11am with Yoga Instructor Savannah Cussen. All skill levels are welcome to join, too! For more information and tickets for this event, visit Eventbrite.
