Were you mad at Dunkin' for ditching the Coolatta? This is how the company is apologizing.

Earlier this year, Dunkin' Donuts announced their famous Coolattas were leaving the menu this summer, and while the backlash wasn't quite Hi-C levels... people were still pretty upset.

In case you've never had one, a Coolatta is basically a milkshake pretending to be a coffee drink.

So, instead, Dunkin' Donuts is bringing new frozen coffee that's supposed to be way closer to actual coffee.

Because no one likes to pay for something they've never tried before, Dunkin is giving away free samples of the coffee on May 19 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If you'd rather pay for your frozen coffee, you can actually go buy one already, they started serving the new drink on May 2.

I'm a freebie kind of girl, so I'll see you on the 19th, frozen coffee.
