He played on Boylan High School’s back to back state championship teams in 2010 and 2011 and went on to play for Northwestern University. Now he's a starting rookie for the Packers.

One game into the season and one more game before making his debut at Lambeau Field, Dean Lowry joined the Steve Shannon Show on 97 ZOK to talk about his wild ascension to the ranks of NFL starters. That’s quite an accomplishment for a rookie.

During our conversation, Dean talked about what he’s learned by watching Clay Matthews and the first thing Clay said to him. He also talked about who, as a defensive end, he’d most like to put on their back.

Good luck Dean Lowry #94. Rockford is proud of you!
