Here's Everything Happening Around Rockford In June

If you're looking for something to do around Rockford this weekend, you're in luck. Between live music, local shopping, theater performances, family-friendly events, and Pride celebrations, there's no shortage of ways to get out of the house and enjoy the first weekend of June.

I'm planning on going to the Pride Party downtown on Saturday, and I hope to see you there! So much happening downtown between Friday and Saturday.

Rockford's Weekend Calendar Is Packed—Here's What's Going On

Friday, June 5th is packed with some Rockford favorites.

Music on the Mall returns to Edgebrook, bringing live music to Center Court. It's the perfect excuse to grab dinner, do a little shopping, and enjoy a summer evening outdoors.

Rockford City Market has officially kicked off in downtown, and that's where you'll find food vendors, drinks, local makers, and live entertainment all around the downtown area by the river.

If you're a fan of murder mysteries, check our Murder Among the Roses, which is a Victorian-themed murder mystery experience happening at the Embassy Suites downtown and the Rockford Conference Center.

Wizard of Oz also runs now through June 6th at Starlight Theater at RVC, I went to see it and it's so good!

Saturday, June 6th has a lot of events happening this weekend, too.

Garden Fair at Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden, featuring plants, gardening inspiration, vendors, and more.

Pride Alley Party & Parade will have all of downtown Rockford poppin'! Plenty of activities, entertainment, and celebrations all weekend.

Dads, Donuts, & Dragons at The Pottery Lounge - combining sweet treats and creative fun.

A special Pride-themed event is happening at the Rockford Public Library called Teen-a-Palooza! if your teenagers are looking for something to do this weekend.
