Friday, June 5th is packed with some Rockford favorites.

  • Music on the Mall returns to Edgebrook, bringing live music to Center Court.  It's the perfect excuse to grab dinner, do a little shopping, and enjoy a summer evening outdoors.
  • Rockford City Market has officially kicked off in downtown, and that's where you'll find food vendors, drinks, local makers, and live entertainment all around the downtown area by the river.
  • If you're a fan of murder mysteries, check our Murder Among the Roses, which is a Victorian-themed murder mystery experience happening at the Embassy Suites downtown and the Rockford Conference Center.
  • Wizard of Oz also runs now through June 6th at Starlight Theater at RVC, I went to see it and it's so good!

Saturday, June 6th has a lot of events happening this weekend, too.

  • Garden Fair at Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden, featuring plants, gardening inspiration, vendors, and more.
  • Pride Alley Party & Parade will have all of downtown Rockford poppin'!  Plenty of activities, entertainment, and celebrations all weekend.
  • Dads, Donuts, & Dragons at The Pottery Lounge - combining sweet treats and creative fun.
  • A special Pride-themed event is happening at the Rockford Public Library called Teen-a-Palooza! if your teenagers are looking for something to do this weekend.
