
Rockford City Market Is Back—Here’s What to Expect This Season
It's officially that time of year again! Rockford City Market is making its highly anticipated return to downtown Rockford, and summer Fridays are about to get a whole lot more exciting.

Starting May 15th through August 28th, the market will take over downtown Rockford every Friday from 4pm to 8:30pm. This is always free to attend, rain or shine, and brings the community together under the Rockford City Market pavilion!
And yes, it'll be packed with food trucks, plenty of drink options, activities for families and live music. Oh, and the 2026 music lineup is stacked!

This year also brings an exciting lineup of themed nights that give every Friday its own unique vibe. From "Rockford in Bloom" on opening night to fan-favorites like "Pride at the Market," "Dog Days of Summer," and "Christmas in July," there's something for everyone. Special celebrations like Juneteenth, Noche de Cultura, and Women-Owned Vendor Night also highlight the diversity and spirit of the Rockford community.
