We all love celebrating Halloween, but it's better when the celebration doesn't cost a dime.

Christmas better watch out because I think Halloween is coming in hot as America's favorite holiday.

From the decorations to the scary movies, we are all about making Halloween a part of every day in October.

And that especially means devoting your weekends to pumpkin parties.

The best parties are the ones that are free by the way... like The Great Pumpkin Market Pop Up!

This is the first year this pop up is popping up at Rockford City Market.

The pop up is on Saturday, October 26 from 10 until 2 in the city market pavilion, and it's free, so you know, it's worth checking out.

Their Facebook event page says the following:

Free Admission. A Fall themed pop-up featuring kids activities, story time, a market, local live music, and more!

A market full of fall themed items will be going out throughout inside the market hall.

10:30AM: Rockford Public Library will be offering a free story time for the kids as well as a free fun craft activity.

12:00pm-2:00pm: Sign up for a fall floral workshop with Evelyn’s Acre and learn how to decorate with fall florals as well as take home your very own arrangement!

Catch Midday Michelle on 97 ZOK from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Follow her on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
