The undrafted rookie out of Lutheran High School had another successful week and could see his name in the record books before long.

The Jacksonville Jaguars aren't having a great season. The Jags currently sporta  1-10 record and are currently residing in the cellar of the AFC South standings. The unquestioned highlight of their year so far is Rockford's own James Robinson.

In Sunday's loss to the Browns, Robinson ran for over 100 yards and punched another run into the endzone for a touchdown. Sunday's total gave Robinson a total of 1,170 rushing and receiving yards through his first 11 games.

The record for an undrafted rookie is 1,328, set by Dominic Rhodes in 2001. Less than 50 yards a game for the rest of the season will give Robinson the top spot in that category.

He's earned respect in the locker room from fellow rookies like Collin Johnson, via the team's official website:

He's almost not human the way he, week in and week out, is able to perform and keep his body healthy. He's a great guy for our locker room and just a beast.

Veteran NFL QB Mike Glennon also has nothing but praise for the rookie from Rockford:

He's a special talent. How he fell to out of the draft, I have no clue. We are lucky to have him because he's one of the better backs in the league.

Robinson has another record in his sights that he could easily set. The number of 100-yard rushing games from an undrafted rookie. The current record is7 by Clark Gaines. Robinson currently sits at 6 100-yard games.
