Rockford’s Veteran’s Memorial Circle Gets A Major Glow Up

Your next drive through the roundabout at Auburn and Main Streets in Rockford will be almost unrecognizable.

Thanks to hundreds of volunteers from Friends of Memorial Circle and around the community, the grounds at Veteran's Memorial Circle were blanketed with nearly 7,000 flowers and plants on Saturday (5/11).

The flowers and fresh mulch beds now become a true sign of Spring in the Stateline. So many wonderful people, mostly strangers, spending time together with a common goal... making Rockford look better. And remind those who've sacrificed much, that they are forever in our hearts.
