Save Money On All Things Baby This Saturday at Walmart

UPDATE: Apparently, many of the reports of this sale are unfounded.

Babies may be adorable bundles of joy, but they also cost A LOT of money.

The amount of money spent on diapers, wipes, food, toys and other baby necessities each month will make any new parent's head spin, and finding a way to pinch some pennies is always key.

To be honest, I never shopped at Walmart much until I had babies and quickly found out they truly have some of the lowest prices on baby necessities.

This Saturday, February 23, Walmart has decided to throw a party in their stores for all parents of little ones, and some major price slashing on baby items is the party favor you will actually want to receive.

Walmart is already offering Baby Savings Days discounts on big ticket baby items like strollers, monitors, carseats, etc. on their website, but Saturday's in-store parties will also feature baby-gear experts and demonstrations, samples, coupons and more.

The Baby Savings Day event will be taking place on February 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the following Rockford-area Walmart stores:

• Freeport -  2545 IL Route 26 S
