Six Flags Gurnee Announces Dazzling Drive-Thru Holiday Experience

If you're looking for a one of a kind and potentially once in a lifetime holiday experience, you should probably head to Gurnee.

That's because Six Flags Great America is literally letting you drive through their park to be part of their Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience.

The Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience will include eleven immersive, themed areas throughout the 300-acre theme park which will be embellished with millions of twinkling lights, live entertainment, and festive music. Guests will enjoy distanced greetings from beloved holiday characters, iconic holiday decorations, a drive-by featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus and their jolly elves, and much more.

If you've been to Six Flags before in Gurnee, you know that the park is massive, so it should be incredibly cool to take a tour through just to check out the awesome holiday set up they've put together.

Holiday in the Park kicks off on Wednesday, December 16, and is free for folks with a current Six Flags Great Ameria membership and/or Season Pass. If you don't, it'll cost you $14.99 per person.

Here are a few other things you need to know before you pack up the car:

• Tickets won't be sold at the gate.
• Reservations must be made online.
• The event is weather permitting.

The event also only runs for a very limited time. Here are the dates:

• December 16-18
• January 2-3
• January 7-10
• January 14-18
