Starbucks Announces Reopening Plans for Cafes in the Rockford Area
For the last few weeks, only the Starbucks cafe on South Alpine and Harrison, has remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic. More openings are coming.
While there is no information as to exactly when each of the Stateline area Starbucks Cafes will open, there is at least a plan now in place.
Be sure to give the crew at the Starbucks Cafe located at 2542 S. Alpine some extra love for holding it down for the last few weeks.
Starbucks is implementing what they call a "monitor and adapt" strategy to reopen cafes around Rockford, according to wifr.com. Some cafes have switched to drive-through only. Slowly, we will start to see more entryway pickup, curbside delivery and at-home delivery.
Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson said in an open letter addressed to employees, that the company has developed a so-called "data-rich dashboard" that aggregates government data on confirmed cases and trends.
