Story Behind Viral Photo of Scary ‘Frozen’ Elsa Cake Will Melt Your Heart [PHOTO]

There's actually a really heartwarming story behind this side-by-side photo that's been making its rounds on the internet. A family ordered an Elsa inspired cake for their daughter's party that was based on a design by McGreevy Cakes, a cake decorating tips website based out in New York. After the photo got more than 2,000 comments on Reddit, it came to light that the cake was actually created by Icing Smiles, which creates cakes for ‘families impacted by the critical illness of a child’.

Icing Smiles responded to the criticism with a touching photo and comment on their Facebook page.

McGreevy Cakes also responded to the criticism.

And what does the actual baker have to say about all of this? Lisa Randolph-Gant said the cake had been created in just two hours and at the end of the day, the child really loved the cake. And what's not to love? It's cake.
