Congratulations to Janine Messner and Andrea Carter from Ralston Elementary School in Machesney Park, Illinois

Jacquelyn Breson nominated Janine and Andrea, she writes,

I'm not sure if this is even a thing but anything is possible, right?

I'm nominating 2 amazing teachers for teacher of the week, as I have twin 10 year old boys that can be.... lets just call it a handful at times. These teachers and all of their previous teachers deserve to be teacher of the week and so much more. My boys had a rough start coming into this world at just 26 weeks 5 days. Looking at them today, you would never guess they weighed in at a whopping 2lbs 2oz and 2lbs 1 oz at birth.

Both Mrs. Carter & Mrs. Messner are very kind, patient and understanding with my boys. They make learning into games, reward them when deserved, bring them back down to reality when needed, teach them about serious or emergency moments in life, and they have a wonderful way of getting on the boys level in helping them understand their school work. It's one thing to show a child something new, it's another when you really TEACH them something new. And that's exactly what these teachers do every single day. You can tell these ladies genuinely love their job, and it shows through my kids. They are excited for school everyday, and cant wait to tell us all about their day once they get home!

I'm really hoping someway we can make this happen, as my boys hear teacher of the week on the radio every week and I know this would make their day along with their wonderful teachers.
