Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Pixler From Johnson Elementary School

Congratulations to the 97ZOK's brand new Teacher of the Week.

The winning teacher scores good stuff from Broadway Florist, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Oriental Trading Company.

Mrs. Pixler from Johnson Elementary School is this week's winner. Jennifer Breeland nominated Pixler for the honor. Breeland says:

We transferred to public after having our son in private school this year. After having a horrible year last year, I had emailed Mrs. Pixler before school started to let her know we wouldn’t be able to make the back to school night to meet her. She emailed me back and offered to meet our son before school. I thought that was so nice to take time out when she didn’t need to be at school. The past month has been amazing.

Not only has he been doing great at school but he loves it. It’s all because Mrs. Pixler is an amazing teacher and makes sure he’s doing a great job. Not only does she communicate with me on a daily basis but makes it a point to let me know our son is a great kid. We couldn’t ask for a better teacher and that’s why I want to nominate her for teacher of the week. It is teachers like her that make kids enjoy school and also makes parents know they are getting a good education.
