Last year I struggled with geometry so much, and had absolutely no clue what I was doing. This year with Mrs.Harvey I feel like I could reteach it to other people. She takes time to personally work with me, and is always making sure I fully understand everything. Her teaching style isn’t the thing I like about her most though; she relates to us in our class and has conversations with us about the real world that no other teacher has had.

She truly cares about our outside lives, and makes sure that we are okay always. One day when having a rough day nobody noticed that I was having a bad day except her and made she that I was perfectly fine. It’s nice to have a teacher who is like a friend who is always there for you, but also helps you get closer to your future goals. She cares about us on such a deeper level than any other teacher I have had, and it makes me feel like I can have a more enjoyable class and want to learn even more because of the great teacher I have.

As Teacher of the Week, Mrs.Harvey was surprised with a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, money to spend at WM Day Spa Salon, and lunch courtesy of Redd Insurance Group.
