Two little girls in Texas were selling lemonade and kettle corn to raise money for a Father's Day present until the cops showed up.

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade; not a case against Texas cops for shutting down your lemonade stand. Talk about leaving a sour taste in your mouth.

Both of the little girls expressed how confused they were over having to close up shop and they're mom thought it was ridiculous; but they didn't let the man get them down.

After doing some research into Texas' Bakers Bill, which prohibits the sale of any food items that could spoil without proper temperature control; including lemonade; they found the loophole that they needed to re-set up shop: They can give their lemonade away for free and take donations.

The two girls probably won't even need to re-open for business. After Splash Kingdom heard the news, they gave the family free passes and a local radio station also kicked in some passes to Six Flags.

You go girls! When I was eight I didn't even have that kind of creativity or ambition to make my own money to buy my dad a gift for Father's Day.

How much did you spend on your dad for Father's Day when you were eight?
