The Elf of the Shelf Visits Rockford [PHOTOS]

While I was on vacation I got an early and completely unexpected gift from Santa- my very own Elf on the Shelf. Despite the fact that I don't have children young enough to enjoy all of the Elf's shenanigans, I've always wanted one and then boom, one day Candy Lu Twerkle showed up on my doorstep. It was a true Christmas miracle.

Now instead of doing the traditional thing with my Elf, I decided to take the mischief out on the town to see the sights of Rockford and the surrounding area; and as you can see by the photos below, we went on some great adventures.
