You know when you're going through your phone contacts and can't figure out who someone is? There's an app for that.

Well, kinda. There's at least an app that will help you figure it out.

This isn't the first time I needed this app, and I doubt it'll be the last.

Every once in a while I go through my phone and run through the contacts list. Do I really need all these old work people in my phone? I delete some, pass by others, and then I'll come across a name or number that I don't recognize.

Nick at Ford? Oh yeah, that's the guy who sold me my car four years ago... Paul Dave's Friend? That's a guy from Amy's epic bachelorette party... but what about Matt Cobbins. Who is Matt Cobbins?

I couldn't figure it out, but I thought to myself, if I knew when I added his number to my phone, I would be able to figure it out.

Guess what? There's an app that tells you exactly what date you added your contacts, and thus solved my Matt Cobbins mystery.

I added his number June 13, 2014, which was when I went to meet G.R.L at the House of Blues in Chicago. Bam. Mystery solved. He must've been a radio guy there, and I probably can delete the number.

The app is called 'iContacts' and it sorts your contacts by the day you entered them into your phone and tells you exactly what the date was that they were entered.

It's little things like this that keep me up at night, so I'm pretty excited to have found this app.
