How much is TikTok really worth to you?  According to internet scammers, people are willing to pay a pretty penny for iPhones with TikTok still downloaded.

I've been using TikTok since the app basically came out.  I was a little late to posting because I didn't think I'd have any good content to share, but then I went viral a handful of times and now this app has a lot of value to me.

Many TikTok users deleted the app after it was temporarily banned in the United States.  Unfortunately, those users won't be able to re-download it because it's still removed from the App Store.

How will they survive?! Well, if you have $5,000 just laying around you can always buy a used iPhone with the app pre-downloaded.  That's how much scammers are selling iPhones right now on Facebook Marketplace.

Over 40,000 listings for iPhones with pre-installed TikTok are on eBay, selling for $2,000 to $1 million depending on the model!  Some listings have dozens of bids already.

If you're actually tempted to buy from someone on Facebook Marketplace, make sure to meet at a Police Station or public setting with lots of people around to ensure you're safe and won't be caught up in a dangerous situation.  Check the phone to see if it's legitimate, too.

We don't know if TikTok will officially be banned for good after this 90-day extension by the new President, but the app experience surely isn't what it was before it temporarily shut down.
