It's not a good idea to pretend you're an officer as an adult.

As a kid growing up, my friends and I loved playing cops and robbers.

When you're an adult, it's probably not a good activity.

Someone took the childhood game a little bit too far.

According to wrex.com,

"A man in Illinois is behind bars after impersonating an FBI agent. Officials arrested Justin Hefner over the weekend in Edgar County."

This is a great example of "Dumb Crime."

This guy definitely has some guts.

He came to the police station dressed as an FBI Agent and proceeded to attempt to arrest people including public officials. He even asked real police officers to assist him.

The fake agent was packing a B.B. gun for protection.

The story does get scary. They found an unloaded A-R 15 along with ammunition and body armor in his vehicle.

"Hefner was arrested for impersonating an officer, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of body armor."
