Check Your Tickets: Illinois Has a $200K Powerball Winner Still Unclaimed
If you bought a Powerball ticket in Illinois late last year, it’s time to check every jacket pocket, glove compartment, and junk drawer. The Illinois Lottery is urging players to look closely at their old tickets as a $200,000 winning Powerball ticket purchased in Dolton is about to expire.
Deadline Approaching for $200K Winning Ticket

The unclaimed ticket was sold for the November 30, 2024, Powerball drawing at the Citgo at 44 E. Sibley Blvd. in Dolton, just south of Chicago. The winner has one year from the draw date to claim the prize, meaning this ticket will expire in two weeks if no one comes forward.
Even if you’re nowhere near Dolton on a normal day, the lottery still encourages all Illinois players to double-check, especially if you routinely buy tickets while traveling through the Chicago area.
