It's time for me to make a confession; I am not what you call an adventurous eater. In fact, I'd be willing to bet I am a pickier eater than your children are. It's one of the ridiculous personality quirks that I am not proud of, but I just simply can't stand a whole lot of foods that other people love.

Desserts however are an entirely different ball game. If it tastes sweet and contains sugar or chocolate, I will most likely give it a go. Today I learned about a new cereal and shake bar called Munchie's that recently opened in Downtown Freeport, and just looking at some of these pictures had my sweet tooth going wild...

But...Munchie's in Freeport isn't only about ice cream and cereal mashups...they do other food too. Here's a look at their menu...

Munchie's Cereal and Shake Bar is located at 25 W. Exchange St. in Freeport, but here comes the most important thing you need to know, (that you might not have noticed in the pictures above), they are only open on the weekends!

Munchie's regular hours are; Fridays 5 to 8 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can even place a pickup order online by clicking here.
