We Just Tried Rockford’s Most Expensive Thin Crust Pizza
When a one topping pizza costs this much, it better be real good.
Lucky for them, it's pretty dang good. At Giordano's, 333 Executive Parkway Rockford, their deep dish pizza is just as popular here as it is nationwide.
If you've tried Giordano's deep dish, you know it's not cheap, but you know that going in. It's a deep dish pizza, did you really expect it to cost less than $10?
Imagine my surprise when I found out that a 14" one topping thin crust from Giordano's ran me $20 after tax.
Since my search for Rockford's best pizza began, I haven't spent that much money on a one topping thin crust pizza. Needless to say, I was quite surprised.
Like I said before, it's pretty good but is it "$20 for a thin crust pizza" good?
