Within the last couple of months I've gotten phone calls and Facebook messages from friends asking if I was still alive. They've pointed out that it's been a while since I've posted any photos of me out and about doing anything and it seemed a little suspicious. Suspicious? I wouldn't say that but they're right, I haven't posted a lot of photos as of lately and there's a very good explanation- I've been spending more time living in the moment. Instead of trying to capture everything around me; I've been experiencing it. Sure, I don't have any photos to share but I sure do have some damn good memories.

We've become a culture obsessed with our cellphones, so much so that people joke that if you don't take a selfie doing something then it never happened. Well our obsession with constantly being on our phones has really ticked off one wedding photographer in Australia, who posted a long rant about using your phones at weddings.

The photographer brings up some very valid points. Do you think weddings should be unplugged? Can you think of a time that smartphones ruined your wedding or wedding photographs?
