Every now and then I'll catch a snippet of the John Tesh Radio Show and his thing is "would you like to live to be 100?"; and every time I catch him saying that, I'll talk right back to my radio and without hesitation, I say, "hell no." Getting old just doesn't sound appealing to me; I feel like I would most certainly wake up and be like, "really, I'm still here?" The disdain I have for aging probably comes from watching my own grandparents get older; the older they got, the crabbier.

In fact, this poor old woman who was featured on Good Day Spokane, reminds me a lot of my Grandma Gloria. One of the last conversations I had with her before she died was about my engagement. When I told her I was getting married, she said, "what the hell would you wanna do that for?" I couldn't help but laugh, and you will too when you watch Flossie talk about turning 110 in the clip below.

Sounds to me like if you want to live to be 100, or in Flossie's case, 110; just live life, don't fight it. Oh, and drink whiskey.  Happy Birthday, Flossie.
