We hear that magical "8 hours of sleep" but a new study suggests one gender needs more sleep than the other.

Ladies. You win. You (and I) need more sleep than men.

According to a study from Duke Magazine, when women don't get enough sleep, the affects are much more drastic then when men skip on a few hours.

Over 200 men and women were part of a sleep study to try and find out whether poor sleep is more of a problem for men or women and the results are based on the fact that men and women's brain are wired differently.

According to the study, "for women, poor sleep is strongly associated with high levels of psychological distress and greater feelings of hostility, depression, and anger," on the flip side, they didn't find that any of these feelings occurred for men based on a lack of sleep.

Truth-code reports that this all has to do with the multitasking that most women do during the day, which requires a bit more work, and in turn, more recovery time, which is sleep, about 20 minutes more each day.

This is totally news you can use, ladies.
