For as long as I can remember, pretzels have been my favorite snack. They are far and away the best. When it comes to store purchased ones, I will go rods every time.

Though on the top of the pretzel list for me are the big soft ones. They are so delicious. If I go to a game, concert, restaurant, bar, or anywhere else that sells them, it is on my "must-buy" list. The bigger the better. Include a little bit of cheese and I am good to go for a while.

Big Soft Pretzels Are Part Of The Wisconsin Food Group

I do not know if you knew this fact, but there is a special food group called Wisconsin. It features big soft pretzels, beer, cheese, curds, fish fry, and brats. Those pretzels are perfect when it comes to drinking many brewskies. It helps to soak up the alcohol.

The Biggest And Best Soft Pretzel In Wisconsin

Since soft pretzels are part of the Wisconsin food group, I thought it would be fun to find the biggest and best pretzel served in the state. After doing some serious research, I think I found it.

The winner is the Grumpy Troll Brewpub in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. First of all, what a great name. The logo is pretty cool too.

This massive appetizer is called "The UFF DA Pretzel." It is served on a pizza platter because it is too big for a normal plate.

According to the menu at grumpytroll.com,

"A colossal one-and-a-half pound soft pretzel served with honey mustard and our house-made Dijon beer mustard and beer cheese sauce."

It is funny that it is under the "Shareable" section of the menu. There is no way one person could eat it by themselves. It is a meal for multiple people.
