The New Eats at Wrigley Might Be the Tastiest Thing the Cubs Pitch All Season

Driven by doing better than just OK, as the Cubs have done these past few seasons, their new food offerings for 2025 are stellar.

Good Morning America took a deep dive looking at some of the finest foods coming to Major League ballparks this season and the truth is, I only care about the Cubs.

While some of the food looks good, the Jibarito Sandwich you'll find at the Friendly Confines is downright mouthwatering.

That's just one of the new things at the Marquee Classics stand inside Wrigley that will have a rotating list of items.

JIBARITO SANDWICH

The Jibarito Sandwich is roast beef, garlic butter, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli smashed between two fried plantains.

After the Jibarito slides out, the Kimchi Burger makes an appearance.

KIMCHI BURGER

It's a chargrilled plant based burger topped with kimchi, hoisin aioli and a broccoli slaw served on a toasted sesame bun.

PUFFY TACOS

The Puffy Tacos make an appearance. Puffed flour tortillas are topped with carne asada, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheddar jack cheese, and cilantro and finished with a lime wedge.

CHICKEN & WAFFLES

Lastly, there is Chicken & Waffles. It's crispy fried chicken served with Belgian waffles and topped with a hot honey drizzle and strawberries.

As I mentioned earlier, depending on when you go, one of these four will be available as they will rotate, but the most popular will return later in the season.

So even if the Cubs fall short in the standings, at least your taste buds can finish the season in first place.
