WTVO Rockford Reporter on Her Hilarious Day Spent Cow Chasing

Alexis Carpello from WTVO was on The Steve Shannon Show this morning and shared how she answered the decades- old question, "where's the beef?"

It's not every day that a television reporter is given the assignment of tracking down a loose cow, but on Monday (12/9), that's exactly what went down for Alexis. News of the cow came from a viewer-submitted video. After sharing the video on WTVO's Facebook page, more tips were coming in on where the cow had moved to. At this point, Alexis and her assignment editor were trying to track it on Google maps before hitting the road.

This was the moment most of us learned that cows are pretty good swimmers. The cow stopped running the streets and ran into the Rock river.
