You Probably Live In The ‘Most Beautiful Town’ In Illinois
One day Rockford is named one of the "most miserable" cities in America and then a day later completely redeem our self.
Yahoo! published a list on the happiest and most miserable cities and Rockford ranked #12. Most anyone who lives in Rockford would dispute the claims that we're one of the "most miserable cities" in America.
But in a new list, Rockford was named as the "most beautiful town in Illinois."
According to Expedia, "Rockford is certainly a catch. Whether you’re picking honey crisp apples at Curran’s Orchard or doting on the intricate Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum & Gardens, you’re in for a treat when you explore this Midwest city. But if tut, tut, it looks like rain, don’t worry, it won’t put a damper on your sightseeing; Rockford Rain Art has a genius installation, in which artwork magically appears on wet sidewalks in certain parts of town!"
Besides Curran's Orchard, Tinker Swiss Cottage, there are other beautiful things in town that come to mind when describing what makes this town so pretty.
Anderson Japanese Gardens, Midway Village, Rock Cut State Park, and Klehm Arboretum are just a couple to name a few.
What do you think makes Rockford the "most beautiful town in Illinois?"
