Rockfordians, our community is in need of many things. You may not think of it this way yet, but you really do have the chance to be a hero. The Rock River Valley's blood supply has gotten dangerously low and now is the perfect time to put your 'cape' on and step up.

On Tuesday, June 9, the RRV Blood Center will be at City First Church at 5950 Spring Creek Rd. The blood drive goes from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., giving you plenty of time to swing by and donate.
