There's not a whole lot to this story aside from pure joy and a reminder that you're never too old for anything.

This story reminds me a lot of my neighbor Dwight. He's 97-years-old, takes several walks a day, and is sharp-minded as ever. It's impressive, to say the least. Much like Rose Torphy, 103, of Fox Lake, IL. Over a month ago she may have set a record as the oldest person to ever receive the title of "Junior Ranger" at the Grand Canyon. Rose described it as follows, "It was beautiful, and I enjoyed every minute.", according to the Chicago Tribune.

Listen to her thoughts of the marvel of Grand Canyon.

How is she still kickin' at 103? She told the Trib, "I've always exercised, even just for 10 minutes, and continues to do that now. In the last few years, I’ve skipped a few days, but I still exercise.” She's also had a glass of red wine in the early evening for more than 20 years.
