You guys, it feels like we are so close to getting back to 'normal' life again I can almost taste it. Festivals and concerts are planning their comebacks for this summer and fall, and although there is an air of uncertainty surrounding all these plans, it is more likely than not that they will actually happen.

That being said, I truly believe the fate of our favorite festivals and shows in Illinois truly depends on our behavior in the upcoming months. If we act responsibly and safely in order to officially kick COVID-19's butt, the 'fun' will return to our lives. Here's proof from Rockton's Old Settlers Days...

Eventually Illinois will enter the 'Bridge to Phase 5', but how soon that happens really depends on us.

How's about I give you a little incentive to make sure we reach the Bridge phase well before Old Settlers Days kicks off on June 17th? Take a look again at the 2021 Old Settlers Days concert lineup...

May I also remind you that Gabby Barrett and Jimmie Allen were just named the ACM's Top New Male and Female Vocalists of the Year, so this concert lineup just got even more exciting.

Wear your masks and hold in there just a little longer, friends, we're nearing the end of this journey through pandemic Hell.
