30 Cult Beauty Products To Try Before You’re 30 [LIST]
Last week, someone informed me that I'm in my late 20s. I mean, technically, I am... but I didn't really realize it. Then I saw this list and thought, my goodness, I'm going to have a lot of work to do in the next few years in the beauty product department.
I would never ever call myself a beauty product aficionado, but I will take advice from TheGloss.com, this is their beauty-tastic list.
Forget new shoes, it's time to trade that tiny percent of your paycheck for these 30 beauty items.
30 Cult Beauty Products to Try Before You're 30
- Maybelline Great Lash - (good news this one is cheap!) I even bet you've tried it before, It's watermelon colored and I know my best friend has been using it for ever.
- Nars Blush in Orgasm - apparently universally flattering
- Smashbox Primer - Hold the phone I actually own this!
- Tweezerman Slant Tweezers - I feel better already, I have these too and I advocate anyone trying to pluck anything to get them too.
- Giorgio Armani Maestro Foundation - The Gloss says, no brush needed on this.
- Urban Decay Naked Palette - possibly the most expensive beauty product I own, because my make-up artist sister-in-law buys the best Christmas presents.
- Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - they also sell matching nail polish
- bareMinerals Original Foundation - I owned this once. Not my favorite, but I think I'm in the minority.
- Seche Vite Top Coat - Well, if you can stay in the lines when you paint your nails, unlike me, you should get this.
- Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Actin Eye Makeup Remover - with a name this long, it must be good.
- Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder - Gloss says this is sparkle and orange free!
- Clarisonic Cleansing Brush - if I was getting married, I'd register for this.
- Batiste Dry Shampoo - they sell colored dry shampoo! Buying this ASAP.
- Beauty Blender - remember that sister-in-law from #6? She uses this on me and it's fantastic. I'm still trying to figure it out myself though.
- Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - Full body, eyebrow and cuticle softener.
- Benefit Benetint - liquid blush? This scares me, let me know how it goes.
- Diorshow Mascara - waterproof! Also kinda scares me, but maybe it's a smart move for those of us in our late 20s...
- Mason Pearson Hair Brush - My American Girl doll had this. I think Marcia Brady did too.
- Creme de la Mer - the most expensive thing ever, on the planet. I totally had a .08 ounce sample once and I felt like a celebrity.
- Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner - I love this type of eyeliner, never tried this brand though. It comes in 14 colors for your dangerous eyeliner-wearers.
- L'Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray - they say it doesn't smell like a cheerleading competition.
- Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara - the brush is strange, be careful.
- Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion - my sister used to use this, which explains Gloss's comment that it has been on the list for the last ten years.
- Essie Nail Polish - I own an unopened bottle of this. Because I can't paint my own nails, otherwise it would be open.
- Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler - eyelash curlers scare the crap out of me.
- YSL Touche Eclat - ooo I want this, it's a dark circle pen.
- Stila Lip Glaze - I may own this in a basket of things.
- Urban Decay Primer Potion - this is a pretty conatiner.
- Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer - this is a long list
- MAC Lipstick in Russian Red - I don't own this shade, but I do own some MAC lipsticks and they are just as pretty on as they are in the pictures.
