5 Great Ways to Celebrate Christmas in Chicago

Nobody does Christmas like Chicago. If you haven't been to this beautiful city during the holidays, I think it's time you plan a trip.

The city of Chicago turns into a Winter Wonderland at this time of year. Full of lights, decorations, and so many fun activities for people of all ages. If you aren't sure where to start, I have put together a list of some fun ideas to get you headed in the right direction.

Lighting of the Christmas tree in Millennium Park November 18th at 6pm featuring a performance by STOMP.

The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival November 19th 5:30pm. A tree lighting parade featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse plus fireworks.

Christkindlmarket November 18 - December 24 a 16th century European inspired market with food and vendors galore.

Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier. Fun for the whole family December 2 - January 8.

Lincoln Park Zoo Lights November 25- January 1st. Holiday market, Santa Claus, crafts, and ice skating all for free!
