97ZOK’s Teacher Of The Week Leads With, Love, Joy & Group Hugs

"Not enough can be said", about our first Teacher Of The Week of the 2019/2020 school year, Mrs. Hobart from Concordia Lutheran School in Machesney Park.

As 97ZOK's Teacher Of The Week, Mrs. Hobart was surprised with a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, a bouquet from Broadway Florist and a $50 Oriental Trading Co. gift certificate.

Mrs. Hobart was nominated by, the very thankful Hallgren/Franklin family, they write:

Not enough can be said about Mrs. Hobart. She has been both of our girls' teacher for multiple years. She has thrown everything her kids have thrown at her; from one being a 1st grade teacher, to another year having two grades in one classroom. She has never let any of that get to her and showed her class the compassion and patience they deserve.

With our family, our girls have sometimes needed special attention since their mother has cancer and sometimes the girls would come to school extra emotional and she would known be able to show them the love and attention they deserved to make sure they had a great learning experience, both for the book learning and for life learning.
