A Young Cubs Fan Lost It After Javy Baez Gave Him A Batting Glove

This young Chicago Cubs fan is all of us right now.

I mean the Cubs are hot, like red hot. Anything they do or touch is fire.

They've won 7 games in a row, and are now in first place after completing a three-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals over the weekend.

One of the biggest reasons why the Cubs are where they are in 2019 is due in large part to Javier Baez. After being the runner-up for National League MVP in 2018, Baez hasn't missed a beat since the start of the season.

So when Baez handed two kids each one of his batting gloves, one of them had the most appropriate reaction.

Now he knows what we all feel like while watching Baez at the plate, in the field, and on the bases.

Baez is magic and 2019 is starting to feel like something special. Maybe not quite as special as "receiving a batting glove from El Mago" special but awesome nonetheless.
