I ask that question after scrolling through their Facebook reviews. This small bakery doesn't even have a sign outside, so finding it can be a little tough. Those that have found the bakery, now have tastebuds that will never be the same. One bite and that 'best cheesecake' question above will be answered.

My husband and I were so excited to see a cheesecake place open. we were very pleasantly surprise. The turtle cheesecake was amazing. we will definitely be back for the cherry and chocolate peanut butter! (Laura H.)

Mac Brothers Artisan Cheesecakes

While the new bakery has only been open since June 1st, brothers Farel and Chris McLester, have been creating and selling their cheesecakes for a few years, a fact I didn't know until reading this story from RRStar.com.

Now you can stop in the bakery at 7914 Scott Lane in Machesney Park and get a whole cheesecake, or a slice for just $6.
